Determination connected with Success!
By Kevin Jimeno on Feb 5, 2010 in Our Evolution
I won’t say too much in this blog post. Just watch and hopefully you will say the same thing I say every time I see this (wow!), then read the quote below.
I just can’t help but to notice the common denominators in each person who I consider successful.
Question I have is: if we see these similar traits and determination in mentors, why do most of us blame outside circumstances rather than self reflect on our own determination? Are we as focused and hungry as those we admire? Not just in our career wise but in family values, relationships, love, in making a difference??? Let me know what you think…
“I will act now. I will act now. I will act now. Henceforth, I will repeat these words each hour, each day, everyday, until the words become as much a habit as my breathing, and the action which follows becomes as instinctive as the blinking of my eyelids. With these words I can condition my mind to perform every action necessary for my success. I will act now. I will repeat these words again and again and again. I will walk where failures fear to walk. I will work when failures seek rest. I will act now for now is all I have. Tomorrow is the day reserved for the labor of the lazy. I am not lazy. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure. I will act now. Success will not wait. If I delay, success will become wed to another and lost to me forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the person.” – Og Mandino

Hi,
Im depressed…
DingoDogg
My friend, I am not an expert nor do I claim to be one…but from my perspective when moments are tough and it seems like hope is not even an option, that is a signal telling you it is time to look inside an do everything you can to identify what is important in this life for yourself. Get with a mentor in your area ASAP, seek advice from those who you respect and value. Most importantly educate yourself in the matters of the mind and self evolution to gain perspective. Sorry if any of this doesn’t help but you have to first identify what is the condition that is allowing you to have a depressed perspective….
I don’t know if I entirely agree… But, you do make some great points. Maybe I can create a reply opposing your post here.
I would love to get your perspective….
I want to thank the blogger very much not only for this post but also for his all previous efforts. I found http://www.kevinjimeno.com to be greatly interesting. I will be coming back to http://www.kevinjimeno.com for more information.
Thanks so much for the support….look forward to hearing your perspective on future post!
Thanks for sharing kevin. I personally love the movie “The pursuit of happiness” you can tell it’s what he really believes. In our cyber world today we think rome can be built in a day… but it literally took one brick at a time, a lot of teamwork, dedication, and most importantly determination.
I found this to be extremely inspiring…thank you!
