Gary Vaynerchuck: Paid vs Free Value…..
You will hear coaches, mentors, guru’s, and many other experts in their field on both sides of the fence on this subject. Some say people do not value FREE, with the thought behind this argument being you are more likely to take action if their is a cost on your part.
The other side of the coin is FREE value gives someone a chance to see the value in what your product or service. Once your prospective customer gets a taste of this value then they will want more and pay you exactly what you want them to pay for your product or service.
However Gary Vaynerchuck author of the book Crush It and his new amazing book The Thank You Economy, makes a strong point. Your premium stuff, meaning your top of the line value should have a price point to it and people will pay for it! With the culture moving in to the micro buying market, you may want to consider restructuring your revenue model and include a micro premium payment option to your business.
I would love to hear your thoughts on which side of the fence are you currently on, and do you plan on jumping over?
